Camo, Camo, Camo.

 Military camouflage print is everywhere! And that isn't a bad thing considering that its one of my favorite prints and I will never EVER get tired or bored of it. We all know prints are always huge for spring/summer and now that we are seeing a whole lot of more designers using different print patterns such as, ocean waves, palm trees, etc, WHY NOT ROCK THEM? Its fun and exciting seeing people in sick prints.

I'm back from my short hiatus. I took a break from MODAZOMBIE to work on some school stuff and to finish some collaborations that I have been working on for some time now. I hope everyone had a great memorial day weekend. I spent mines visiting my sisters and brother-in-law in the valley. I had a blast, aside from the fact that it was kind of hot when I got there and I was wearing all back! Clearly having a goth moment.

Do you guys remember when I told you about how I was going to try to dip dye a shirt? WELL I couldn't figure out how to get it right! So I ended up giving into what my inspiration to dip dye was to start off with which was, a  3.1. Phillip Lim button up shirt. I was convinced I was going to buy the button up but my Saks Fifth Avenue here in San Fran wasn't carrying it anymore so I ended up getting the tee shirt version (whaaaaa!!). Regardless of what version I purchased dip dye is really the thing to be sporting right now so enjoy the trend while it last! SHOP 3.1. PHILLIP LIM HERE.

MY MET GALA 2012 BEST DRESSED...

My best dressed at the Met Gala last night was obviously, Marc Jacobs! He wore a black Comme des Garçons polo shirt dress with a pilgrim shoes from his own collection. Love the whole genderless dressing. And I loved that when asked about the dress he said, "I just didn't want to wear a tuxedo and be boring." AMENNNNNN. Fashion should always be fun. Always!

Boot Wisdom.

No matter how much anyone tries to eliminate boots out of their summer looks, it seems almost impossible! Boots have become kind of like an asthmatics inhaler, a necessary essential! For me, boots are my version of the women's heels. I never really wear sneakers, sneakers are my equivalent to women's "flats". I only wear sneakers when working out at the gym. That's pretty much the only place they should be worn. As a boot addict I wanted to share with you GUYS a few of my favorite stores both online and here in San Francisco. When shopping online, Its usually Bergdorf (since I don't live in NYC). Boot shopping here in San Fran is usually at Gimme Shoes, The Archive, or Shoe Biz. GREAT STORES that you guys should check out. And for all my UK readers, you should should check out Brantano.com they have a great range of boots both formal and street. In Oakland testing locations with a friend who is going to direct a local bands video shoot. Its kind of hot today so I decided to base my look as if I were going to Coachella, hence the big tribal print tee and Coachella coming to an end. I've always been obsessed with huge tees. Not only because I like feeling that I look like an Olsen twin but, I love how they flap around when they're hit by the wind. Semi magical.
